Shape Shiftr runs in your browser. OBS brings it into your stream with a standard Window Capture, the same way you would capture any app.

There is no dedicated OBS plugin, Browser Source URL or virtual camera yet.

    Open the studio, turn on your camera and press ShapeShift.

    Switch the view to Transformed and go fullscreen. Info overlays are hidden by default.

    In OBS Studio, add a Window Capture source and pick your browser window.

    Crop to the video, then add your microphone as an OBS audio source.

    Go live to Twitch, YouTube or any platform OBS supports.

Common questions

Can I use Shape Shiftr with OBS?

Yes, through OBS Window Capture of the browser window running the studio. There is no dedicated plugin yet.

Does it work with Twitch and YouTube?

Yes, by streaming from OBS. Shape Shiftr does not connect to streaming platforms directly.

Will it slow down my game?

The AI transformation runs in the cloud, not on your GPU. The studio still uses some browser resources and upload bandwidth.

How do I get my microphone into the stream?

Add your microphone as an audio source in OBS. Window Capture brings in video only.

Is my stream footage stored?

No. Camera video goes directly from your browser to the AI engine and back, and is never stored on Shape Shiftr's servers.
